Anxious Annie meets up with laid-back Teddy in a noisy bar. Mismatched strangers, yet intimately connected, Annie finally shares her painful secret.

Synopsis

An older woman and man meet, seemingly on a blind date, recognising each other by their respective hair, Annie grey, Teddy with silver beard and ‘fro. They feel very different. Teddy’s into his music. Annie finds it all too much. Annie orders a large wine, Teddy a healthy juice. Annie drives the conversation with more and more questions of Teddy who finally snaps. Annie apologises and they reach a truce. They start to speak deeply, Annie finally speaking the truth of what brought this unlikely pair together, sharing a deep and painful guilt. They leave the bar together, something has been released, a trust has been built.
